Chalfont St Giles Memorial Hall
The Memorial Hall, completed in 1923, was built to commemorate servicemen from the village killed in the Great War and it continues to be used for a wide variety of village activities. The new Millennium entrance, opened in July 1999, has greatly improved the Hall by adding modern toilet facilities, as well as providing a very welcoming entrance foyer. The Hall has its own car park and it is now an ideal venue for meetings and business events and for private functions such as dances and wedding receptions.
There is a large kitchen with facilities for the provision of meals. The Hall, licensed to hold up to 200 people, may be hired for commercial events at a rate of £18.00 per hour and for private events at a rate of £12.75 per hour. Note: These are the rates for 2010.

Play the Memorial Hall Lottery
The Hall is used virtually everyday; users include various village sports and social clubs, the Infant School and Nursery in term time, and many local people for private functions. Help us go the extra mile and win a small fortune - The monthly lottery costs £l2 for the year. That works out at a mere 3.2p a day, with the chance of winning major cash prizes each month. Once again we'll be giving away 20% of the pot. Last year we had some 450 members.
If you would like to play, download an application form here, or pick one up from the village library and shops, or you can contact Tony Hoare on 01494 872883.
