in the Village

Friday April 19th, is Good Friday.
Its the day when we remember that Jesus Christ, who had done nothing wrong,
voluntarily suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
Its a time for reflecting on that, before celebrating the joys of Easter and the fact that he overcame death to give us hope.
Christians in Chalfont St Giles invite everyone to join in a
Silent Walk of Witness

from the former Catholic Church (opposite 118 Deanway) to the Village Green.
Please meet at the former Church in Deanway at 10am.
We shall then process silently behind a cross to the Green for
a service starting at 10.30.
If you are going straight to the green, please bring your own chair if possible.
Please note that if it is a wet day, the service will take place in the
Parish Church.
Please come.

A turquoise coloured link bracelet lost on the playing fields, Chalfont St Giles on Thursday 11th April.
